As we go through 2024, you are invited to join us as we intentionally seek God in prayer. You can use this guide and the suggested verses to help direct your prayers during the first 24 days of each month

as we dedicate ourselves to God in 2024!

 

  • 1.     Read Psalm 42 and tell the Lord that as the deer pants for water, so your soul thirsts for Him.

  • 2.     Read Psalm 27:4 and tell the Lord that you want to be in His presence.

  • 3.     Read Revelation 2:1-7 and ask the Lord if you have left your first love?  If so, do what Jesus instructed in verse 5.

  • 4.     Read Psalm 15 and ask the Lord to make you a person of integrity.
  •  
  • 5.     Read Psalm 51:10 and ask the Lord to create in you a pure heart and a renewed spirit.

  • 6.     Read Psalm 32 and ask the Lord if there is any unconfessed sin in your life.

  • 7.     Read 1 John 1:9 and thank the Lord for his forgiveness and cleansing.

  • 8.     Read Psalm 139:23-24 and ask the Lord to search your heart as David did.

  • 9.     Read Ephesians 4:12-32 and ask the Lord to use those verses to examine your life.

  • 10. Read Romans 12:1-2 and ask the Lord to help you be a living sacrifice to Him.

  • 11. Read Philippians 2:1-11 and ask the Lord to give you the same attitude as Jesus.

  • 12. Read Isaiah 40:28-31 and ask the Lord to renew your strength.
  •  
  • 13. Read Psalm 145 and thank the Lord that He is near to you as you call on Him.

  • 14. Read Psalm 143:8-10 and ask the Lord to teach you to do His will.
  •  
  • 15. Read Psalm 19 and ask the Lord to help you do what verse 14 asks.
  •  
  • 16. Read Isaiah 58:6-14 and ask the Lord how you can put this passage into practice.

  • 17. Read Jeremiah 9:23-24 and tell the Lord that you want to understand and know Him more.
  •  
  • 18. Read 2 Chronicles 7:14 and pray for yourself and our country.
  •  
  • 19. Read Philippians 1:9-11 and pray Paul’s prayer for yourself.
  •  
  • 20. Read Philippians 3:7-14 and ask the Lord to help you have the same desire as Paul.
  •  
  • 21. Read Philippians 4:4-9 and ask the Lord to help you put this passage into practice.
  •  
  • 22. Read 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 and thank the Lord for His love toward you, and may you show His love.
  •  
  • 23. Read Romans 15:1-13 and thank the Lord for His Word and the hope you have in trusting Him.
  •  
  • 24. Read John 14:15-21 and thank the Lord for His Holy Spirit as you obey Him.
