lead pastor

Pastor Mark Hiehle became our Senior Pastor on March 19, 2016. Pastor Mark comes to Castleton with a servant’s heart for the Lord and His people, and is excited for the journey that the Lord has ahead. Pastor Mark is an ordained Elder in the Church of the Nazarene having served in ministry for 33 years in various capacities. He has served as a Senior Pastor, Youth Pastor and also as an Executive Director of Crisis Pregnancy Centers around the country as God has given him a heart for the unborn and standing for LIFE. Pastor Mark has been married to his best friend and love of his life, Anita, for 35 years. God blessed them with 3 biological children: Jonathan, Timothy and Jennifer. Then, God broke Anita’s heart for orphans and adoption which led to the adoption of their children, Kaylin and Kaleb, from China. Mark enjoys canoeing, swimming, beach vacations and spending time with his family. His greatest desire is to see peoples’ lives saved and changed through the work and power of God!

Anita Hiehle became our Worship Leader in March 2017.  She and her husband, Lead Pastor Mark Hiehle, have been in ministry together for 33 years.  She has served alongside him in many capacities, but is now enjoying the opportunity, once again, to serve the Lord as Worship Leader and lead others into the presence of God.  Anita has used her gift of music since the age of 8 yrs old, first singing with her father who also pastored for 50 years.  She toured with the singing group, Children of the Light, for 4 years, as well as had the opportunity to sing in hundreds of churches throughout her husband's ministry.  Anita and Mark have 5 children, and she homeschools her two youngest.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, any vacation with a beach and the ocean and a good Hallmark movie!
